Private finance or public swindle?
When the general election comes we need to vote for a party that can unpick all of this. Now which one would that be?

It is called stealing from our great grand children.
Well done Allyson. Well done Dr G.
The Cockroach Catcher
.... and well done to Al Jazeera.
Now why wasn't this BBC Newsnight or Panorama? Perhaps the BBC should broadcast a series detailing specific PFI frauds in the run up to the next General Election.
I used to work for a health trust before I retired 18 months ago. I remember the extraordinary lengths we went to to avoid being forced to go down the PFI route for our new Oncology Department. We could see the writing on the wall. Why couldn't others?
Because, anonymous, many found it was Hobson's choice. No PFI meant no new building. Those were, in general, the rules. And, of course, those that played ball retired with their CBE's and were not around to pay the terrible price.
