Agreed.
That's a very short list. Apart from costing us all money, they have also destroyed many British institutions, handed over power to a self-serving and unelected beaurocracy and demolished the illusion that honourable members have any notion of honour or integrity.
You're right about the opposition though - they failed completely. And the total cost isn't just measured in money.
Have a look at http://www.votematch.org.uk/2010/index.php - interesting to compare actual policies instead of pretty boy contests on the TV.
Ray.
Agreed. The list could have been much longer but my fingers were getting sore.
BUT who else realistically offers anything else? and has a chance of getting in?

I have a hunch most of the country shares your dilemma anonymous.
Nice to see you blogging again. Did your employers acknowledge their error or are you simply defying them and calling their bluff?

Welcome to the blogosphere, Dr Zorro.
I restarted the blog because I decided that I have a democratic right to blog especially in the run up to an election. Fortunately the instructions that I had been given were open to interpretation and were not specifically addressed to me so my guess is that if I keep my Trust out of this I am unlikely to run into too much trouble.
I have also realised that there are ways around this problem. You will see that Betty Grumble has written one or two posts and a GP neighbour has also done a post. I can't really be blamed for what they write can I?
Dr Rant's blog was written by a consortium with a server in the US which they felt gave protection. Well that's what they told me - though it could have been a bluff and really it was just one person pretending to be several. The fact Dr Rant's blog disappeared suddenly suggests that perhaps there was only one Dr Rant but I shall never know for sure.
Vote UKIP, at least that way we save to subscription to the EU.
Good for you and welcome back
For 1, 2, 3, 8 and 13 on your list I think the Tories get more credit than merely 'failing to oppose', more like 'pushed for even more of'.
You need someone to set up an Old Labour Party if you're to have any choice but Tory and Tory-Lite.
Quite right, Mike from Ottowa. The Tories egged them on. Our Scottish friends say we need a Scottish National Party for England.

Good on you!
