Just a rumour
Karol Sikora's negativity about socialised medicine has been causing embarrassment. It has led, so Dr Grumble is told, to some high level transatlantic telephone calls. There were also some difficulties related to his claim to be a professor at Imperial.
This is what he said:
I'm a consultant at Hammersmith hospital, nobody would dispute that. It's true I can't call myself professor of cancer medicine at Imperial........
Is it true that he has now lost his position as consultant at Hammersmith Hospital? That's the rumour that's circulating. Does anybody know for sure?

Certainly Imperial College has disowned him but has the closely connected Hammersmith Hospital?
Well it seems likely that if the Conservatives get in karol Sikora could become the future equivalent of Lord Darzi!
